Some other things you can do to be extra memorable to the kids:

NEW VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT HOLY TRINITY  At the regular January voters’ meeting a number of initiatives were adopted which will require the utilization of the time and talents of the members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. A new standing Payroll and Compensation Committee was created to address the expanding needs of HTLC, while the existing Treasurer’s Committee has had its membership formalized. These committees are envisioned to broaden both lay member and leadership involvement in the HTLC’s finances and payroll procedures.  In broadening and formalizing committee participation, we also hope to better leverage the many diverse talents and experiences of our church membership. Serving on either of these committees is open to any/all church members. The council is therefore asking all HTLC members to consider their professional and life experiences. If you feel that you might be able to contribute to either committee, or have questions about what committee participation might entail, please email Matt Hilliard and Nathan Hahm via the Treasurer’s email account htlc-treasurer@comcast.net.
In addition to the committees mentioned above, there are and will continue to be numerous volunteer opportunities related to the work of the Trustees and work on the building expansion project. The HTLC Trustees have a seemingly inexhaustible list of items that could be addressed by individuals or by teams of HTLC members, as people have the occasion to volunteer their time. Please keep your eyes open for Trustee requests on the bulletin board and announcements of more work days in the near future. The council and Trustees are hopeful that the gifts of your time and talents in these areas might serve the Lord and his kingdom well as we all continue to work together to expand on our shared mission of Sharing Jesus Christ with All Ages and Nations.
